Support: GPS settings for distance-based exercises: TriadXP Fitness App
Two Easy Ways to Use GPS Tracking for Your Workouts
TriadXP uses your device’s GPS to track your distance-based exercises so you can focus on the task at hand. Sometimes, it’s not practical to use GPS to track your distance, yet you may still want to record it. Well, with TriadXP, we’ve made it easy to switch back and forth from GPS to manual tracking.
How It Works
- During a workout.
- Select a Program from the Program Library or the Recently Downloaded section of the Dashboard. Tap on a Workout within the Program to perform it. The Workout Details screen will appear, showing you the details of your workout.
- Tap the “Start Workout” button at the bottom of the Workout Details screen, and a Get Ready screen will appear with a ten-second countdown.
- Tap the “Start Workout” button on the screen to start the countdown. Your Workout will begin after the countdown finishes.
- When you perform a distance-based exercise, a “map pointer” icon will appear in the right-hand corner of the top menu bar, next to a “Lock” icon. When the “map pointer” icon is gray, GPS tracking is ON. When the icon is black with a line through it, GPS tracking is OFF.
- Before you begin a workout.
- Select a Program from the Program Library or the Recently Downloaded section of the Dashboard. Tap on a Workout within the Program to perform it. The Workout Details screen will appear, showing you the details of your workout.
- From the Workout Detail screen, tap on the three-dot (“...”) icon in the right-hand corner of the top menu bar. It will open up a pop-up menu screen.
- Tapping the “Override GPS” button will change the setting ON and OFF for all distance-based exercises within the workout.
Remember, you’ll still be able to change the setting during your workout by following the instructions above for “Turning GPS Tracking ON and OFF During a Workout.”
